說故事技巧：
這是一本為孩子閱讀起步所設計的簡單讀本，不過也可以當作故事來讀，因為這兩隻小老鼠很有創意，從六根冰棒棍發想出許多創作！說完故事，聽故事的孩子也一定會想要拿幾根冰棒棍來玩一玩。

Anansi the Spider

蜘蛛Anansi遇了難，還好他有六個身懷絕技的兒子，老大千里眼看到爸爸遇難，老二蓋了馬路領大家去救難，老三喝光了湖水，老四......Ananasi在獲救後回家的路上撿到一顆白光球，正想送給最好的兒子，只是好兒子有六個，白光球卻只有一個，如何是好？

說故事技巧：
這故事可分成兩段，前段說Anansi遇難被救，後段說Anansi撿到白光球後的難題，兩段都各有情節的轉折和故事的重心，而就語言程度來說前段簡單些，後段則有些難以肢體或表情解釋的地方。

Anansi是個非洲故事，以下是鵝媽媽裡蜘蛛兒歌之一。
兒歌:Little Miss Muffet
Little Miss Muffet
