蜘蛛Anansi遇了難，還好他有六個身懷絕技的兒子，老大千里眼看到爸爸遇難，老二蓋了馬路領大家去救難，老三喝光了湖水，老四......Ananasi在獲救後回家的路上撿到一顆白光球，正想送給最好的兒子，只是好兒子有六個，白光球卻只有一個，如何是好？

說故事技巧：
這故事可分成兩段，前段說Anansi遇難被救，後段說Anansi撿到白光球後的難題，兩段都各有情節的轉折和故事的重心，而就語言程度來說前段簡單些，後段則有些難以肢體或表情解釋的地方。

說故事技巧：
用原來的唱法唱完整本書，孩子一定很快就會跟著調子哼著歌。原歌詞及手指謠步驟如下：

（左手食指對右手拇指，右手食指對左手拇指，交叉往上爬。）
Down came the rain and wash the spider out.
（兩手手指張開由上往下做下雨狀。）
Out came the sun and dry upon the rain.
（兩手食指和拇指做成圓圈，高舉在上當太陽。）
The itsy bitsy spider went up the spout again.
